About Mirisleydis

Mirisleydis Alvarez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) dedicated to helping children and families build meaningful skills that improve everyday life. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and has extensive experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs across home, school, and community settings.

Her passion for Applied Behavior Analysis comes from a deep commitment to seeing children grow, gain independence, and reach their full potential. She believes that progress happens when therapy is individualized, compassionate, and guided by data. She specializes in comprehensive behavioral assessments, behavior reduction, functional communication, social skills, and the development of adaptive and daily living skills using evidence-based strategies such as Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and task analysis.

Mirisleydis is bilingual in English and Spanish and takes pride in providing culturally responsive services that support families from diverse backgrounds. She values collaboration and works closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to help skills generalize across environments and become part of each child’s daily life.

Her approach focuses not only on reducing challenging behaviors but also on building confidence, independence, and long-term success for both the child and their family. Supporting families and celebrating each child’s progress, big or small, is what makes this work so meaningful to her.
